Grandmaster Sin Thé filmed an informative video on the basic martial arts principles passed on to him from Grandmaster Ie Chang Ming. This 2-hour DVD is packed with stories about his life and his training, many of which he has never publicly shared before. The DVD is available at the New Orleans School for $20.

 

Bywater Neighborhood

The Bywater Neighborhood Association (BNA), founded in 1975, is a non-profit neighborhood organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of this national historic district. They sponsor the popular Mirliton Festival each fall, with local music, food, and crafts.

Bywater Art Market is held in Markey Park (corner Dauphine and Piety) the third Saturday of each month 9am-4pm. It's sponsored by the New Orleans Art Conservation Guild and art supply store, 3620 Royal St.
