Shaolin Do Schools and Clubs Worldwide The information on this page is courtesy of the Shaolin-Do Association webpage at www.shaolin-do.com. The SDA has organized the country into 14 areas. Although these areas are designated by number, six are named after the original Shaolin temples: Honan, WuTang, Omei San, Kwang Tung, Fukien and Hua Mountain; the seventh will be named in honor of Grandmaster Sin Kwang The's birth place, Bandung. Each region has an Area Vice President appointed by the President. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area 1 (Bandung): Kentucky Master Leonard is the
senior student of Grandmaster Sin Thé. He began his studies
in 1967 in Lexington, Kentucky, and he currently holds the rank
of 8th Degree Black Belt. He is the manager of the Sin Thé
Karate School in Lexington and actively teaches all levels of the
art. His seminars and specialty classes have attracted hundreds.
Master Leonard has had a number of schools in the state of Kentucky.
These schools have been passed on to other teachers and now instruct
hundreds in Shaolin Do. Only Grandmaster Thé has taught more
students. Master Leonard also serves as Senior Vice president of

grew up in Ashland, Kentucky. He returned to Lexington to attend
the University of Kentucky in 1972, where he first started studying
under Grandmaster Thé. He received his BS in Physics and
his 1st Black Belt both in the spring of 1976. He was promoted to
5th degree in 1999. He is a rubber chemist by profession and has
used his writing skills to author a number of articles on Shaolin
Do which have appeared in such publications as Inside Kung-Fu and
Black-Belt Magazine. He currently holds a 5th degree Black Belt
